Telogis

On my way to the interview with Telogis, I dropped all 15 postcards I wrote. My duty is done, let the vacation start!
Telogis is in Arlington, they were the ones with the 10th grade math test. Small but nice company. The interview was great, there's no other way to put it. Just great. We talked about them, not me, which is much more interesting. I made a fool of myself when they asked me how to implement a hash table, but it triggered quite an interesting discussion. At the end of the interview, they suggested changing my CV from "English: good" to "English: excellent". Very flattering.

After the interview I transformed from a tie guy back into a tourist and went to the park. On my way there I discovered Rutherford's old laboratory and checked it out. After all, that man was given a golden medal for shooting at a golden foil! When I was in the park reading a book (an English book, of course!), Malcolm called to tell me the people from Telogis just offered me a job. Words cannot express what I felt at that moment. Not my words, anyway. This deserves a brand new paragraph:

Today I got my first job offer and therefore achieved total New Zealandness. Yay!

The Internet terminals are all occupied by giggling girls uploading their holiday pictures to their myspace or facebook or whatever, which is why I cannot broadcast the good news just yet. But I will. Soon.

The evening I spent on a long walk along the lines of the tram. Same tour, only cheaper. Oh, and I checked out the Souflaki place. This time they weren't running out of anything, so I had dinner there. No hamburgers for me today.

Interesting thanks for the info on Telogis. Are you still working for them? If you are, have you heard of a company called Remote Dynamics? You can find them at remotedynamics.com,

Good Luck and Hope things are well.
