Packing My Bags
Yesterday evening I went to my parent's place. After yet another futile attempt to fatten me up, I spent the night there. Today we packed my bags. I'm allowed to carry 10 kg scuba diving gear and 20 kg normal stuff. What I have is 12 kg scuba diving gear and 17 kg normal stuff. I hope that's okay, since all in all it's still one kilo less than I'm entitled to bring with me.
I'm less nervous than I was yesterday. Maybe my trip won't be very successful in terms of job offers (or even job interviews), but I bet I'll have a great time anyway! Three weeks and a whole new country to discover! What more can you expect? Travelling alone might be boring, but I will spend the first week in a youth hostel with five other people in the same room, so hopefully I'll make some friends along the way.
The way I see it, I won't be able to blog on a regular base there. Chances are I won't blog at all. But I promise to take a lot of pictures and catch up on everything after I returned.
