Good Evening, Sir!
The highlight of today was shopping with Thomas. We went to C&A to get me three shirts and two ties, but that wasn't the highlight. The highlight was when we tried to leave after I paid: when I reached the door, the alarm went off! Yeah, this isn't exactly spectacular. False alerts happen all the time, I know. But none has ever happened to me! So we were walking out the door, when this totally normal looking guy came over and wanted to see my bag. "Good Evening, Sir!" he said.
Not a problem, because I haven't stolen anything and I was well aware that nobody suspected me. We went back to the cashpoint, he removed the alarm label from one of my shirts and I thought I could go home after that. But he asked me for the sales slip and compared the serial numbers on it with the numbers on the shirts. That's when I realized that I would neither be a good store detective nor a good shoplifter, because I wouldn't have thought of paying for three cheap shirts and taking three expensive ones home! Great idea, though ;-)
