Books! Books!

Finally an interview in Wellington. Adam, a headhunter from the same agency I saw in Auckland, was a nice guy. Well, by now you must have figured out that each and every single headhunter is a nice guy. I'm just saying. We made the appointment back in Auckland, where they can access the database in Wellington. Obviously it didn't work too good though, because I didn't appear in his schedule. Fortunately, he had a little time to spare. We went to a nice small cafe and he bought me a hot chocolate. Nice! I told him what I did for the last few years and he kind of remembered reading my CV. At the end of the ad-lib meeting he organized an interview with Sidhe. So going to Wellington won't be a complete waste of time in terms of interviews.

After our little meeting I walked around some more (surprise!) and found the library. It's right in the middle of the city, how could I miss it? It had lots of books and stuff in it, but for some reasons it lacked the flair of other libraries. Never mind, the world of books made it up to me less than one hour later. I found this absolutely amazing bookstore called Arty Bees. Amazing. I bought two Tom Holt books before I knew it. Hopefully they aren't too heavy. They have another store down the street which I'm going to check out on Friday. Boy will I be overweight on my way home...
