Still Airborne

This is the best morning I've had in a long time. It is 8.15 AM and I'm in Dubai (دبيّ) waiting for my flight. In Germany it's 6.15 AM and I haven't slept yet. On the way to Dubai I saw Live Free or Die Hard, had a great dinner and played some silly old video games.
"It can hardly be a coincidence that no language on Earth has ever produced the expression 'as pretty as an airport'. Airports are ugly. Some are very ugly. Some attain a degree of ugliness that can only be the result of a special effort. This ugliness arises because airports are full of people who are tired, cross, and have just discovered that their luggage has landed in Murmansk (Murmansk airport is the only known exception to this otherwise infallible rule), and architects have on the whole tried to reflect this in their designs." [The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul, by Douglas Adams]
That is definitely not true for Dubai Airport! It's like Harrods with planes instead of limousines in the parking lots. I bought a hot chocolate at Starbucks. It cost seven Euros, but it was the best damn hot chocolate I ever had.
I didn't sleep, but technically, this is the end of the day.
