2007-06-12 Seven Things I Like About Chatting

1) It's a great way to stay in contact with friends wherever they are (as long as they aren't sleeping at that time).
2) It's faster and more interactive than email and you can make it short. Chatting is to email what email is to snail mail.
3) It's better than a phone call because you can think longer before you answer. You can also chat with people in other languages and don't have to annoy them with your accent.
4) You can talk about virtually nothing and have fun anyway.
5) It's a nice distract from work. Not that I don't concentrate at work, but a small chat here and there helps to keep me sane.
6) There is a chat history that enables you to recall previous conversations. Now try that in a real world situation!
7) It's cool.

I was in fact trying to find TEN things I like about chatting, but that's all I could come up with. Pretty pathetic, huh?

Let's talk about Lois Lane for a second, shall we? She's a reporter, and a damn good one for that matter. Her job is to find out about hidden secrets. She does a remarkable job, but there is the minor matter or her co-worker Clark. Every single time someone gets in trouble, Clark remembers that he forgot his bag in the other room, goes away to fetch a cup of coffee or simply disappears without a trace. And she doesn't realize that? I mean c'mon, she must be super naive!
But then again, I don't seem to have a problem with a man who is flying around in a blue pantyhose and a red underpant, so why should a journalist with a blind spot be a problem? After all, she figured it out eventually and even married the guy! And they lived happily ever after...

Hidden secrets? Wow... can you say "tautology", boys and girls?
