2008-04-03 Bye Bye Lynda!
Lynda is going to Toronto on Sunday. For three months she's going to fix all their problems, instead of providing us with the latest gossip. As a kind of farewell gift to me, she made me dance salsa. She practically tricked me into it! I told her I'm practically made of wood, and I dance like a white guy. Shouldn't that be more than enough to make her not want to ever see me dance? It's amazing what a guy won't do for free food...
(Sorry, no photos. Someone took heaps of pictures last weekend on Anca's party, and then forgot to recharge the batteries. Someone's a wee bit oblivious, isn't he?)

Graeme fixed my bike! Now the gearshift on the front gearwheel is working better than ever before. The trick is to not only use the two screws on the derailer, but also to adjust the length of the cable. It still needs some fine tuning, and I'm confident that it's going to be better than the guys in the shop ever thought it could be!
When I complained about the friction, Graeme recommended new tires. "Very cheap, only $30 each. Plus a tube, $10 each". That would be more than half of the price I've paid for the damn thing! But I still haven't even got a lock for it, and before it hasn't paid off I'm not willing to spend any money on the damn thing!
