2/4/8. That's today's date in Kiwi lingo. Neat, hu? It's also 10/100/1000 in binary, in case you haven't noticed. Which makes it almost as nerdy as the 1:4:9 trivia Simon told me about a couple of weeks ago.

Every now and then people ask me if I've already made friends here in New Zealand. Making friends doesn't come easy to me (I admit my somewhat difficult personality might play a huge role there*). But today I made eleven friends in two hours. And I've even met most of them in real life before!

One more thing I thought you should know: I'm going to win the lottery. Jade has a temporary betting pool, because the jackpot is somewhere in the area of 18 million dollars. So if you don't hear anything from me in a couple of weeks, that's because I won the lottery, quit my job and moved to... dunno yet... somewhere with less visa problems for Filipinos, I guess.
Or maybe it's because I'm too lazy to blog.
