From a grain of sand...

Did you know that it's a hell of an ordeal for the poor oyster? They don't make pearls to please da ladies, but to protect themselves from the nasty grain of sand. Isn't it ironic that it's this very pearl that eventually kills the oyster, because someone wants to get it out? Sometimes you can try as hard as you want, and life gives you a lemon anyway. And somethimes you don't even feel like trying.
