Filling Out Forms Revisited
I hate it, but this time it was easier. Not only did I have a goal in mind, but also in view! So I clenched my teeth and did it. (I'm talking about the forms that immigration forms that my contract was attached to, by the way.)
The rest of the day was consumed by ordinary housekeeping, reading and scanning of documents. Paper is much heavier than bits and bytes. Too bad I cannot digitize my clothes or my scuba diving gear...
In the evening, I picked up Alex from the train station in Kaiserslautern. Obviously, he managed to crash his car near Nürnberg, where he was looking for an accommodation. He wasn't hurt, but his car was pretty damaged. Car accidents are never funny, but I couldn't help being reminded of that old "there I was, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, this brick wall jumped at me" groaner.
