Random Rant
This isn't exactly important or interesting, but since I have nothing else to post today, I might just as well broadcast it. Today was the day of my first scuba diving training for ages. Tomorrow is a public holiday (All Saints' Day) and all shops will be closed, so I bought some food first. Also, my car was almost dying of thirst, so I had to refuel it, too. Naturally, I was late again. My fault. But on the way to the baths I had to take a detour, because there was a huge merry-go-round standing on the street. And it wasn't even in use! What good is a merry-go-round when nobody is using it? Gah!
When I finally came to the pool, there were only two other divers there. Never mind, I haven't done this in weeks and my ability to swim is starting to degenerate. So I did some swimming. For 20 minutes. Then the pool attendant kicked us out, because they closed early. Aaaaaaah!
To be precise, they didn't close earlier, they just closed early for normal guests. Sauna guests were allowed to stay longer and skinny-dip. So I ran for it. (Usually, these people are quite old and given enough time, gravity does nasty things to the human body.)
But the most interesting thing isn't that so much went wrong. It's that it doesn't matter. In two month from now, I will go to New Zealand and everything that happens here in Germany seems rather trivial in comparison.
