2007-03-17 Filling Out Forms...
... is one of my biggest pet peeves. What do I know about "Secondary School", "Tertiary Certificate", "Tertiary Degree", "Post Graduate Degree", "Trade Qualification" or "Other"? In Germany, it's completely different anyway. I went to university and graduated in Computer Science, alright. But without asking Yahoo, I would have given up on this one. It seems that my German Diplom is a "Post Graduate Degree". Nice. Now my second online application for a job in New Zealand is on its way. Next week I will be busy preparing cover letters and sending applications around the world.

But now for something completely different: I'm at my parents place, and the above picture shows what you see when you look outside the window. Beautiful, isn't it? In the picture on the right, my dad is using his brand new knife sharpener. He said he likes it, so it was worth going through all that eBay drama, eventually.

Oh, just come over here to Manila. It's sunny and warm all the time and the scuba diving is excellent. I don't scuba dive, but I have friends who do. :D
Gosh, thanks for the invitation! I could stay at your house while you're in the US! I could water your plants and sleep on your sofa. Then I could go scuba diving with Tina every day. Would be lots of fun, don't you think? Shouldn't be too difficult to hack the web for your home address...
