This Is Battle, Boys

Thomas and I cleared the desk in his ex-office. I didn't know he had so many books there! After that we went to his place, put all the books in his bedroom and went to the park. We got lucky, because the moment it started to rain was also the moment we sat down under a sun shade in a beer garden. A few minutes later it stopped and we went back to Thomas's place. We watched Around the World in 80 Days (funny!) and Ocean's Twelve (boooring) on the MacBook Pro his new company gave to him. Nice! When I got home I finished The Time Traveler's Wife.

What I don't like about going out in Kaiserslautern is that there are so many American soldiers. I have nothing against Americans in general, but I don't like their soldiers. And when they're drunk they become a little tough to handle. I guess it's not exactly easy to go to Iraq, but why on earth didn't they think about that before they joined the army?
