2007-05-09 A Simple Conversation

Here's the transcript of a conversation between me (M) and my conscience (C):

M: The day after tomorrow I will sit an IELTS test to prove my skills in English.
C: Are you well prepared?
M: Of course I am! I studied hard.
C: Yeah, like three hours a month ago and two hours today.
M: Er... yes. But don't forget all the practice I got while writing a blog for more than two months now.
C: And what good English that was!</sarcasm>
M: Okay, okay. At least I'm not nervous!
C: Oh c'mon, you can't fool me, man! You're scared shitless!
M: No, I'm not!
C: Yes, you are!
M: No, I'm not!
C: Have it your way, then. I know you'll be a nervous wreck same time tomorrow!
M: What does "wreck" mean?
C: *gasp*
M: If you'll excuse me, I'm going back to study some more...
