- There are no poisonous animals in New Zealand, they all stayed in Australia.
- New Zealand has 4 million inhabitants and 55 million sheep.
- Vegemite is said to be disgusting, but I'm going to try anyway.
- New Zealand was the very first country in the world to have women's suffrage.
- The antipode of New Zealand is somewhere in southern Spain.
- New Zealand's national bird, the Kiwi, gave the name to the Kiwi fruit.
- The queen of England is also the queen of New Zealand.
- Zealand, from which the name New Zealand is derived, is in Denmark.
- Divers can visit the Rainbow Warrior, which has been countersunk by the French.
- Ernest Rutherford (the Nobel prize winner with the gold foil) was from New Zealand.
