2007-05-11 I Am Your Father

I'm at my parents place. My dad made steak, but I couldn't eat anymore after I had this huge salad as starter. To be frank, I'm a little nervous about tomorrow. The oral part of the IELTS test went so-so, I believe I've been babbling the same stuff over and over again. Why can't they do it all in one piece, instead of splitting it up in two? The interview only took 15 minutes, the written part (tomorrow) will take three hours. Doing it all on one day shouldn't be a problem, right?

Tonight I've been watching parts of Reign of Fire. It was not only boring, it was a disaster. There was one good scene, though: On a devastated Earth with no TVs, two of the main characters were re-enacting scenes from Star Wars to entertain the children. When Christian Bale said "I Am Your Father" to the other guy, all the kids gasped for breath. It was the one and only highlight in the movie.
