2007-03-14 The Smell Of Summer

Today was this special day I've been waiting for since the very beginning of this year. I went home early and there it was: the smell of summer! Usually, my nose is not working very well, but twice a year it does a marvelous job! The whole world smelled just the way it must have smelled in paradise. It was cooling down, but you could clearly tell that it has been warm before.
People watered their lawns and the smell of wet grass was in the air. It's hard to describe, you really should have been there. It was a perfect day (after work, that is).

Tomorrow, my first theoretical diving lesson is going to take place. Let's hope that my medical examination turns out well, or I'll be stuck in theory.
