Zebras

What exactly are those zebras doing? Are they smooching? Are they resting? Or did they literally run into each other? Anyway, I think it looks very cute!
Did you know that, genetically speaking, zebras have less in common with horses than us humans have with monkeys? At least that's what Bill Bryson says in his Short History of Nearly Everything.

With nothing at all to do today, I spent my time sleeping late and watching TV. Then I got the great idea to weigh my scuba diving equipment. 10 kilograms. Wow. The problem is that I'm only allowed 20 kg all in all, and my suitcase weights almost 5 kilograms. That leaves exactly 5 kilograms for clothing, which is not exactly much, is it? I'll have to spend a lot of time washing, I suppose.

I think they might be posing for the camera.
They're grooming each other. It's a sign of affection. Since they themselves cannot groom their neck, shoulders, and whithers, they stand like this and help their friends out. Horses and donkeys do this too. If your horse really likes you, he/she may do this and try to grom you, too!
