Tetris

Last week, three or four of my co-workers had a gaming night. I was also invited. In fact, the whole company was invited, because it was one of these "social events" that are supposed to weld people together. I didn't go and only three or four people showed up, so it wasn't that successful. I guess it's far too late to humor people that are already pissed beyond belief. Anyway, they played a lot of ego shooters and "retrieve the flag" games. Not exactly my kind of game, but it gave me the idea to search YouTube for Tetris. Some of the videos are fun, some are cool, and some are cute. I totally want one of these tesla coils!

Guess who booked his flight to New Zealand today! 9/11 might not be a the best day for that, but I did it anyway. They didn't even offer a discount, though. Now it's settled: I'll fly from Frankfurt to Auckland via Dubai and three weeks later from Wellington via Christchurch and Dubai back to Frankfurt. I don't know how long the trip is going to take, because all times on my ticket are local times and I'm too lazy to look up the different time zones and stuff. I guess I'll be in the air for 24 hours and it will probably take 8 additional hours to get from one plane to another. Not a problem as long as I know where my towel is.
