2007-07-10 On Crumbling Cookies

Words of the day: "that's the way the cookie crumbles", meaning "that's the way it is" or sometimes "shit happens". Once again it's inspired by Kristine. I don't know what I would do without you. Well, I'll find out soon enough I guess... *sigh*

Tomorrow I'm going to find out how the Internet works. For a computer scientist, it's amazing what I don't know about gateways, switches, TCP/IP, wireless networks, DHCP, router, name server and all that stuff. This will all change. Isn't it cool that you can figure out the Internet by only looking at it? Imagine the possibilities if the same was true for women!
