2007-07-16 Hasta La Vista, Baby

When I had my skydiving fitness examination, the doctor said my blood pressure is a little too high. That's why today I'm undergoing this 24 hours blood pressure measurement procedure. The device makes me look and feel like the Terminator because although I hid it under my shirt (it was a hot day and I wore a shirt with long sleeves!) there is this tube that wraps around my shoulders, which feels weird. You cannot really hide something like that under a shirt, because it also makes funny noises every 15 minutes and squeezes my upper arm until I almost scream. But it needs to be done, I guess, so I'm half man half machine until tomorrow, 10 am. Then it comes off and I will be a free man again.
