2008-03-14 On Glasses And Time Machines

Silly ol' Marc forgot his USB stick in the office. It has notes for three or four days worth of blogging on it, so I can't write about the last few days this weekend. Gah! Oh well, at least that gives me time to hang around and do nothing this weekend.
How could I leave it there? Easy! I was in a hurry because I had an appointment with the optometrist. And man did he do a bloody good job! I've been to eye specialists and optometrists in Germany before. It took them approximately five minutes to figure me out. But this guy, he took at least half an hour to do a thorough job.

What else is new? No idea, really. Life just kinda goes on, you know. I finished the first season of new Doctor Who today. It rocks! I don't like the scary episodes (The Unquiet Dead and The Empty Child) too much, but I have always been a big fan of machines made of copper and brass. The first time machine I will build is going to look like the inside of the Nautilus, not the Enterprise. Not even the old one.
