2007-12-07 Farewell... Kinda
Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas market)... it seems to be nowhere the way it is in Germany. Too bad, because that's one of the things I'm going to miss. Along with Christmas in wintertime in general, of course. Christmas market in Germany means getting waffles (with powdered sugar or cinnamon) and mulled wine, meeting friends and having a chat in fresh air. Another way to put it would be to eat, get drunk and freeze your ass off. For some reasons, most people consider it fun. I'm one of them.
So that's where we went after work. Chrissi, Thomas, Uli, Ingeborg, Mady and Bernhard. It was my cheap substitute for a farewell party. I will see half of them at least one more time before I go, but you can never be sure, and the more the merrier. Hmmm... mulled wine!
When we were chilled to the bone, we spontaneously decided to check out the new Asian restaurant. Sushi all you can eat. I love sushi!
I got home well after midnight, and I had Mady's traditional birthday/graduation/farewell gift: lipstick imprints on the cheeks. Luckily there was no police control on the way home this time, or they would have breathalysed me immediately.
