2008-06-03 Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

Word of the day: zebralope. It's short for zebra envelope. Those are the big envelopes for internal office mail. Some people call them that because they have black stripes (for the names of the recipients).

Strike! I finally did it! I sent my application for residency to the agency. Hopefully, they will forward it to Immigration this week or next. Before the end of the year I will either get residency or start looking for another job (either in Germany or on the Philippines). Chances are it's going to be residency.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but I don't feel much like blogging lately. There isn't enough to blog about, anyway. Also, I'm still missing 40 posts of this year and 20 posts of last year. I'm really trying to write something about these days. In fact I have notes for most of them, so it's merely a matter of sitting down and doing it. But I just don't feel like it. And posting irregularly doesn't feel right, either. So I might just as well stop it altogether. Or at least only blog on special occasions (birthdays? weekends? leap days?) Suggestions?
