2008-05-11 Then She Appeared

This is it. Today is going to be the day. Finally.

I finished all the last minute things that had to be finished last minute. Then I walked to the airport. You may no know this, but it's about eight kilometers away. When I left the house, I still had four hours before Kristine's plane would land. When I arrived at the airport, the remaining time was down to an hour and a half. Enough for breakfast. While I was eating it started to rain. Am I lucky or what?

The rest of my waiting time is only mildly interesting, so I'll skip it and just write that her plane was five minutes late and immigration/customs took bloody ages.

Then she appeared.

For a lack of vocabulary, I'm going to skip the cheesy details, too.
It didn't rain on the way back (this time we took a bus). At home we eventually ordered a Hell's pizza. Although it was my first order, they didn't call to confirm and we let the delivery boy wait for five minutes.

End of day one. Feel free to fill the gaps by yourself.
