Does he clean the stables? Clean out the old bottles? check the tires of the milkmobile? Or does he simply sleep because he parties all night and doesn't get up very early but goes to bed really late? We'll probably never know. Personally, I like to think he spends the rest of the day fighting crime in the guise of the White Ninja.

Care for a book recommendation? I highly recommend Peter F. Hamilton's Mindstar trilogy (1, 2 and 3). I didn't know he had other books, too. They are on my list as of this moment. That man knows his science fiction.

What else is on my list? Ah, here: LIRC. Linux Infra red Remote Control. And not just one. Pretty much all of them. In my previous job I've had a laptop with a remote control. It was tiny. It didn't have enough buttons. VLC didn't recognize it. LIRC is different. It's merely an interface to your remote control. If you know how to write software you can connect it to pretty much anything you want. (And if you don't, why are you using Linux, anyway...) Trigger the screen saver, for example, or switch the screen on and off. I wish I had a better knowledge of the hardware side of things. I would totally build a receiver. Well, maybe later.
