When I grow up I want to become a pilot.
Not for a big airline with a posh uniform. And of course not for the army.
I would just have a small airplane with two or four seats. Like John Travolta in Look Who's Talking. Or Jim Carrey in Yes Man.

Battlestar Galactica is getting better and better and better and better. I can hardly wait for the end of the month.

This is going to be embarrassing. Or at least Kristine does not get tired to tell me so. Here it comes. I haven't seen most of the classic old movies. Ferris Bueller's Day Off, for example. Or Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. But Kristine finally rectified that. And I made her watch Batman in turn. You're going to have to click on the link to see why that is torture.

If everything goes according to our plans, we'll be in Germany for two weeks in August. Kristine wants to see castles and eat Brezeln (or "Pretzels", as foreigners spell it). I hope to meet as many friends as possible, while not disappointing my parents too much, who are already looking forward to see her only child who left them alone to go so far away for so long.

Batman - the TV series?! Boy, you're so cruel!
FLOSH! ZACK! BANG! OUCH!
Pilot! Pilot is grand. Best thing is, you can daydream about it. Speak after me: "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday. Christchurch centre, Two-Seven-Sierra. I have an emergency. Left engine exploded and on fire. Structural integrity in doubt. Hydraulics damaged. Request priority vector nearest airstrip immediately."
"Two-Seven-Sierra, Christchurch centre, I have your Mayday. Radar contact. Stand by while we pour coffee."
;->
See, when a colleague tells you to watch Bill & Ted nothing happens, but when a woman asks...
But I have to admit: It was bought at a high price for her. Nonetheless: Congrats to Kristine! Well done. Whatch the movie again in German and you'll finally understand my weird nickname *grin*
And this is the ONLY movie EVER that is better in the German version than in it's original!
By the way: Congratulations for the upcoming marriage. Believe me, it's ok ;-)
By the way: When you're in Germany and pass by to bavaria, come and visit me at my new workplace near Munich...
Greetings, Dennis
Thanks Dennis!
Bavaria? Munich? New job? Details! Nötigenfalls by email...
